- 2 - E.6/HP.21.12.32. it is the large diameter of H.T. cable called for which will not suit our standard distributor moulding, and for which the screened ignition plug terminals we contemplate using are not suitable. At the same time we consider this large diameter is quite unnecessary. We have accordingly asked for permission to use our standard 7 m/m armoured cable that is considered satisfactory on our aero engine work, but with the addition of cambric covering to the armouring to meet the specially rough handling that is encountered in tank operation. Apart from this one point we see no difficulty in meeting MGO.11's requirements in a modified scheme. We impressed on the MGO.11 representative the importance of pressing on with the modified scheme without delay and we hope to hear something of interest from Major Carter with regard to this point.
