Starter Motors (Contd:)

RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} and RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/JRD. were optimistic that a large reduction in cost was possible for our own starter motor, particularly when no reduction gear was required. Apparently the simplest form of R.R.starter motor without a reduction gear, is estimated to cost £4.10.0d.

Production Schedules.

Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} pointed out that a revised programme was necessary due to the fact that some Phantom III chassis were included in the present schedule. He also pointed out that the material for the remaining 250 Bentley V.{VIENNA} was well in advance of the 50 sets of material required for Wraith. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} agreed to produce a revised "Chassis-to-Test" programme.
