Dear Sirs,
Replying to your letter of the 22nd instant, we have to inform you that the third Heater unit has now been dispatched to you.
Unfortunately, the motor, when received back here for the second time, was still inclined to be noisy, although from a performance point of view it had been improved, and as a matter of fact had to be re-wound.
The noise came from the brush gear, and in order to save time we ourselves have tightened up the brush boxes slightly and re-bedded in the brushes, thereby reducing the noise very considerably, though we still consider that it is not so quiet as the original two sent to you.
If, on testing this, you feel that it is really not satisfactory, perhaps you will be good enough to communicate with us.
We note your remarks regarding further deliveries of Heater units, and will deal with the matter immediately on receipt of order.
Yours faithfully,
THE AC-SPHINX SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD.
