Referring to Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}10/AH.18.11.38, we would say that the reason that you have not been informed of the defects of the small Clayton switch experienced by us on experimental cars is that we were unaware that you were using the small switch and were under the impression that the switch generally used both by you and the coachbuilders was the large unit which has "HEATER CONTROL - FULL ON - OFF" and the R.R.monogram engraved on it.

If you are prepared to accept the method of fixing of the Clayton switch the same can be used for the Lucas, in which case the only cost is 2/3d. and the cost of a small engraved disc.
