39-EX - 15,000 MILES TEST.

With a view to getting the maximum value for our money out of the next 15,000 miles' test, we have been finally deciding when the next batch of material has got to be ordered at the present rate of production. We find that if we are able to commence the 15,000 miles' test by March next year it will be in time for us to release this material. We are not proposing, therefore, to send 39-EX to France until after Christmas.

We want to take advantage of this delay in order to get proper schemes for the various experimental improvements we have in hand on this car.
