X.4021. WATFORD IS.12 MAGNETOS NOS.98033/4. HANDED OVER FOR TYPE TEST "F" ENGINE.

We desire that you should ask your men in charge of the Type Test particularly to watch magneto No.98034 whilst running on the engine preliminary to starting the 100 hour test, in view of the fact that we have noted on the bench that this machine is of slightly unequal performance with No.98033 on low speed and high speed sparking characteristics. We have, if necessary, another machine No.83132 which can take the place of No.98034.
