In reply to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/ML.8.1.41 re minutes of Tester's monthly conference, we give herewith the present position of the various items :-

(5) Waiting for Operating Switch from B.T.H.

(6) At Burton having rubbers moulded to metal pieces.

(7) b. It now appears that transmission rattles can be cured with a friction load of 17 to 27 lbs/ft.

2. We are waiting for better weather conditions to try balancing prop: shafts ourselves with Jubilee clips.

(9) New camshaft and aluminium cam wheel fitted. We have all the parts we require for Ripplet.

(10) Parts have been made for modification of another axle like 9-B-V.{VIENNA} These parts will not however fit 30-G-Vll. The mod. is for a 1.50" offset axle and 30-G-Vll is .650" offset. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. is preparing a scheme for us for 30-G-Vll.

(11) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham} has paid a visit to Hardy Spicer's Works to find out exactly what tackle we require. He is now making the necessary drawings from which we will make the parts.

(18) 3-B-50 and 9-B-V have been modified and appear O.K. We still want to finalize this job.

(21) We cannot do this yet, as we have not the correct design for Ripplet Water Pump.

(22) Job has proceeded as instructed in garage, but weather is holding up road work.

(29) Job completed.

(32) Most of our troubles have occurred on what now appear to be obsolete hinges. We have however shown EAG. a good sample of hinge tightness on the latest B.V. body on the Trials car.
