666. Sporthotel Herrmann, Davos-Dorf. To By... from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wednesday. Have been on the 8 cyl. so far, changing to the 'Corniche' tomorrow. The accelerator pedal position is acutely uncomfortable, I like the roller type that we originally fitted to the car. Bonnet knocks are very bad, the bonnet design wants bringing up-to-date with stiffeners and fastners. Engine running beautifully, oil consumption about 2500 M.P.G. Clutch excellent, suspension very comfortable, brake distribution wrong, not enough front braking. Boot as usual, lets all the dust in. This is a very bad Park Ward feature which they must put right. I had a row with Ward on the same subject on I.B.11 body, the first all steel. Flying back first service Monday. At the Works Monday afternoon. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
