666 5/7/39 Wed Morning - SPORTHOTEL HERRMANN DAVOS-DORF TEL. 143 30GVII GRY.{Shadwell Grylls} The car is running very well, at the moment- the worst feature is the brakes. These require far too much pedal pressure, have practically no front- braking and I have already taken the rear up five notches each side. The suspension is very fair but hits the buffers too easily. Gearbox so far O.K. but 2nd synchro occasionally baulks & crashes. Prop shaft period not too bad. Accelerator position terrible. Horns futile. Have written By a short note. Back at Works Monday afternoon. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
