250a To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}7/JH.3.5.38. 6.B.IV. - Brakes. Will you please fit the rear brakes now on 5.B.IV. dynamometer chassis to 6.B.IV. when it is rebuilt. These are 14" dia. brakes. The equalizer shafts and intermediate levers off B.56.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} should be used to complete the hook up. A standard front equalizer plate lever should be used. The Girling brakes thus left over should not on any account be scrapped as part of them will be wanted on B.56.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} We have another axle for 5.B.IV.
