S/W. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Y1449 Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/D28.2.29. Re: Starting of Engines from Cold. I attach original LHS{Lord Herbert Scott}4/CP18.2.29, which will be self-explanatory. LHS{Lord Herbert Scott}, has, as I expect you are aware, a cottage down near Aylesbury. The garage is in an exposed position, and you will see that his experiences of starting up his car in the very cold weather have not been good. I should be glad to have your comments on the query raised by LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} in the last paragraph. Please return the attached original with your reply. Att: 1. Sg.{Arthur F.
