Dear Mr. Robotham, I was glad to have a line from you again, but I am sorry to hear the Petrolift has failed on Mr. Lappin's car. The trouble is probably sticking up of the top plunger, as this is the only fault we have experienced with the pump. What actually happens is that as the top plunger has the pull of the magnets which holds it against the side of the pump tube, should there be a bit of foreign matter there, it puts up sufficient friction to hold the plunger up. It is not an actual jam. It may interest you to know that we have now entirely redesigned the pump eliminating the top plunger completely, and therefore disposing of the one trouble we have been having. Kind regards.
