87005. To Es. from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} MxS/T23.2.32. FEB 24 PHANTOM TORQUE REACTION DAMPERS. We have tested some of the special friction discs which you handed to us. One set we have put through the full routine of test including the dynamometer. We find that in the case of the dressed and ground fabrics that there was no tendency for the dressing material to exude - the loading however had increased slightly. With regard to the undressed fabrics these were more consistent with regard to poundage, but we do not think they could be used in that condition as they will rapidly disintegrate. The discs we have tested have been handed to By/SS.{S. Smith} Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} | ||
