HEAT AND FRONT FLOOR BOARDS.

With reference to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}17/MH.{M. Huckerby}29.8.33. addressed to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}, you may be interested to know that some little time ago we decided to reinstate our recommendation in favour of the top scuttle ventilator.

We have already arranged for it to be fitted to all bodies laid down for our own stock and we have, in addition, circulated the Coachbuilders recommending its standardisation on bodies they build for their own customers.

Moreover, BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has arranged to add a note advocating the installation of the top scuttle ventilator to the drawings issued to Coachbuilders to show a recommended method of attaching the scuttle to the dashboard.

Of course, our recommendation applies to bodies for both Rolls-Royce and Bentley chassis.
