Dear Mr. Robotham,

Very many thanks for your letter of the 5th inst.

I have very much pleasure in enclosing herewith the Lincoln Service Manual, about which I told you, but will be pleased if you will be good enough to treat the contents as strictly confidential, since I am sure you will appreciate I am sending it to you in compliance with your request for special information and data in regard to the Lincoln car.

Will you please be good enough to return it to me under registered cover as soon as you have finished with it.

Yours sincerely,

P.S. We are holding a V-8 drop head coupe at your disposal and shall be glad to know when it will be convenient for you to have it.
