-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MJ.8.8.34. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} broke. We have made further tests with the plungers for silencing the synchro mesh and find that by increasing the spring load from 8 to 16 lbs. they completely cured B.1. You will recollect that when fitted up as on your car B.1 still rattled. When carrying out the tests on the wings will you please confirm that the centralized radiator mounting does not make matters worse. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} has the impression that if the radiator is made solid the wing flap is reduced. Please continue running with .004 exhaust valve clearance until you can say if it is O.K.
