Dear Mr.Robotham,

Your letter of the 2nd June has been handed to me on my return to the office.

I am extremely obliged for your information relating to your Apprenticeship scheme which you have sent me and which I will pass on to my friend in due course.

Regarding the question of high compression pistons, my client's car is at the moment fitted with a rather heavy, close coupled coupé body, with the result that the total weight of the car is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 35 to 36 cwt. I understand he is trying to either sell the body and arrange to have as light a body as possible fitted to the chassis, or to sell the complete car and purchase a new one. Therefore for the moment he is not in a position to decide whether or not he will have a set of these pistons to fit.

However, as soon as he has made his decision regarding this matter, if he should require any pistons, I will get in touch with your Mr.Haywood as suggested.

Yours sincerely,

R.R.Jackson.
