X3035 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. EFC2/T12.8.24. X.3035 - BATTERY THERMOMETERS. Answering your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}21/NJ 28.7.24, with reference to the above, we still think there is some misunderstanding over this matter. There is no question but that there is a difference between the thermometers which they supplied and the one illustrated in the cutting which we sent under cover of our EFC2/T12.7.24; the former thermometers had elongated reservoirs, whereas the one illustrated had a spherical reservoir. It was not possible to get the whole of the reservoir of the thermometers sent submerged in the electrolyte above the plates of a chassis battery. Is it possible that they are speaking of thermometers suitable for open stationary batteries? EFC. | ||
