| -3- OIL PUMPS & RELIEF VALVES. 6. Endurance & Performance Tests. Kestrel, Merlin, Exe. 10 HP. variable speed motor 2,500 P.R.P.M. - geared for Exe to 3,500 P.R.P.M. Rig to tilt - minimum 15°, maximum 45° each way. Tank capacity 10 to 15 gallons, heating and cooling elements to give 15°C to 120°C temperature range. Provision for measuring deliveries up to 6,000 pts./hr. Attachment on drive to run fuel pumps in conjunction with oil pump - tank (with cooling element) for paraffin to hold 5 gallons. Attachment required for testing relief valves. 7. FUEL PUMPS. Endurance and Performance Tests. Existing rig with modification to delivery measuring system and provision of oil pump capable of delivering 5 pts./hr. at 120°C, 90°C temperature. Provision also to test carburetters in conjunction with fuel pump. The existing rig is adaptable for Merlin, Kestrel, or Exe. Room in the cabin (which must be raised from the ground) to accomodate two rigs. Ground floor to accomodate variable lift supply tanks carburetter test rigs, and other petrol tests. 8. Air Compressors and Vacuum Pumps. B.T.H R.A.E. etc. performance and endurance tests. 2 HP. variable speed motor 3000 P.R.P.M. and complete apparatus to Ms.2345. also drive to suit B.T.H compressor with equipment for pressure up to 400 lb/sq.in 1750 P.R.P.M. 9. OIL SEAL TESTS. "Gits", "Perfect", Hamilton etc. Endurance Tests. 3 HP. variable speed motor, 3,000 R.P.M. or fixed speed A.C. motor with suitable gear box to give at least 4 speeds up to 3,000 R.P.M. Rig to be adaptable to all sizes of seals - as required - continued. | ||
