Dear Sirs, Referring to our conversation on Tuesday last in connection with your brake servo motor linings, we have run a further series of tests, results of which are given on attached sheet. As you will see, the friction values in every case but one are of an exceptionally low order, a fact that we are entirely at a loss to account for. The pair of linings Mr. Grylls handed to the writer a few days back were our Ferodo S. 3914; these were tested and actually gave the highest value with the exception of Ferodo Fibre, although the value of each did not remotely approach the figure given us by Mr. Grylls. Yours faithfully, FERODO LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER. Encl: | ||
