Capt. A.W. Phillips,
Secretary,
The Royal Automobile Club,
LONDON. S.W.1.

Dear Capt. Phillips,

We have now gone into the position relative to the car which you wish to borrow and find that we can let you have a car for the week which includes the Tourist Trophy Race. For the fortnight after the race, however, it appears that we cannot manage to spare a Trials car. Will you, therefore, please get in touch with Mr. Cowen of our London Office, and let me know exactly when you would like to take over the car you wish to bring up to Derby.

Looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month,

Yours sincerely,
