Huckerby}6.8.38 With reference to the letter from Capt.Phillips of the R.A.C., I find that last year we lent him a car for 10 days. As you remark, we shall be short of Trials cars at the period he mentions, so that 3 weeks is rather a long time. I think a compromise would be to say we will lend him a car for the Race but we are afraid we could not spare it for the further fortnight he requires for touring. I agree with you that we ought not to lend him an experimental car. Please let me know if you think this will be satisfactory. C. | ||
