BENTLEY B.35.K.U. CHASSIS M.8.BZ.UNIT.

We understand that the above chassis is allotted as the new Paris trials car and would like to fit new main bearings of the type which ran without trouble on 3.B.1V.over 17,000 miles on the French test and for which a Standardisation Sheet is in circulation.

Will you therefore please remove the unit and fit a set of these A.C.2. main bearings which we will supply.

The diametrical clearance should be .003. The bearing shims as standard in solid RR.56. material.

We also wish to modify the crankpin lubrication holes, which consists of an extra and opposite hole (.125 dia.) to the existing hole in each crankpin.

The existing hole which is .2187 dia. is sleeved and re-drilled .125 dia. the resultant being 2 - .125 dia. holes in each crankpin.

Regarding these modifications the crank alteration can be done in the Expl. Dept. as several cranks have been previously modified in a similar manner.

The whole job can be booked down to our Experimental order number 54107.
