Re: CHASSIS B.260.GA - Mr. A EMBIRICOS

Mr. Embricos informed us about two weeks ago that he was leaving with his car for London and that, while in London, he would not be using his car for about a week. As he was one of those customers complaining about excessive oil consumption, we advised him to take his car to Kingsbury and, at the same time, we advised Kingsbury.

The car was sent to us this morning, to have other tyres fitted, and we noticed that Kingsbury have carried out the following:

I. Fitted an engine oil filler and breather pipe combined.
2. Plugged up the breather pipe between the valve rocker cover and air silencer.

Sr. has asked me to request you kindly to let us know if we can obtain the above type of oil fillers, and if so could six be sent to us as soon as possible. If six cannot be supplied, we suggest that two should be sent to us, with the remainder to follow.

As soon as we are in receipt of a reply and providing that you are able to supply the parts, we will send D/BP. an official order.

When attending to excessive oil consumption complaints, can we reduce the oil feed (pressure) to the rocker shaft and (if you agree) by what amount?

Sr/VA.
