E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} } x6092 RL/117.10.32. C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} CHASSIS DYNAMO VIBRATOR REGULATOR. Referring to E6/HP111032., D.sch.583. and 585., are approved. The alteration to the switch seems to make this part slightly simpler. The alteration to the distributing board is extensive. Perhaps its bulk looks greater on paper than the actual piece. I agree with the advantages of sealing the cutout, and the interchangeability of the cover. I hope the latter will prove sufficiently watertight. There does not seem to be anything unnecessary in the outline of the C.A.V. regulator, but as I have not seen this fitting it is difficult for me to say anything about it. Will you kindly send a specimen. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
