Requirements. 25% stiffer springs to lower the front of the car .5"

Unsprung wt. 460 LBS.
Total empty sprung wt 1997
Two pass sitting forward 160 LBS.

Subtract-Wolseley. (lightened engine) 100
2057.
∴ Wt per spring. 1025 LBS.
Normal spring deflection. 3.1"
∴ 25% stiffer. Spring defln. 2.34"
And final camber to be 1" neg.
∴ Initial Camber 1.34" Pos.
Normal movement from static position to max bump 2.2"
25% stiffer spring movement- 1.65"
∴ Max neg Camber for stress 1" + 1.65" = 2.65"
Spring rating - 1025 / 2.34 = 440 lbs / 1"
∴ Spring specification
Initial Camber. 1.34" Pos.
Rating. 440 lbs / 1"
