13th June, 1936.

Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of Mr. Longley.

Dear Sirs,

We have now managed to get hold of one of the original Ph.III clutch plates, with 1/8" thick facings, and we should very much like to run it on your centrifugal machine. Would it be convenient if we brought it along on Tuesday afternoon for this test ?

We are to-day passing you an order for two 13½" x 9½" x .130" facings backed by a .015" jagged steel plate, as discussed with Mr. Holmes yesterday.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
