We have received the two S.U. Petrol pumps, minus nipples and nuts. We have not got any so I have phoned to Paris to let me have six nuts and nipples. We have not seen or heard anything of the man you said left Derby yesterday. I was speaking to Sr. this morning and he informed me that Alfa-Romeo fitt their electrical petrol pump direct on the tank Hispano on the back cross member of the frame, Bugatti first fitted them under the front apron, but now find that fitted similar to Hispanos is the best position. He also informed me that the pump they fitted was an American named Autoflux, I have obtained one of these pumps to try.

We are enclosing the calubration of the thermometer to assure you of the temperatures given. We also enclose the two rubber joints taken out of the hot water connections. We are meantime working on the dampers, fitting the pumps, fitting springs to side steering ready for further testing.
