H.R. 295A (100 T) (S.H. 159, 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 X.1640 To Mr. Hives from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} R7/P17.12.13. X.1210. X.3348 X.1640. Please give us particulars of this Peerless motor, especially with reference to :- 1. Brush holder that holds this particularly novel brush of German Silver. 2. Some particulars of the winding that can conveniently be found without deamaging the machine. R.{Sir Henry Royce} This motor which gives such poor efficiency has probably much core losses or perhaps it has coarse armature teeth and solid pole faces, some particulars of it would be interesting.
