X7770 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re. 21-EX. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E27.5.29 'Referring to PN{Mr Northey}'s report, copy of which has been sent to you, I was very pleased to note his general remarks in regard to the running of this car, but very sorry to see what was found in regard to inefficiency of the cooling when the car was used on a fairly warm day such as last Thursday. It of course shows the danger of conducting all our tests at one time of year, but I appreciate that it has not been possible to do otherwise. I do not know whether you are reporting this matter to R.{Sir Henry Royce} It rather seems to me as if he ought to know about it without delay. I should also be glad to know what action has been taken with a view to overcoming the trouble. I should be glad if you will make a point of speaking to me about this on the telephone to-morrow, Tuesday, afternoon. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
