5. files of other departments for the context, it is difficult for me to deal fully with the notes of Py6/DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1/10/20. Dealing with Mr. Pooley's paragraphs :- 1. At this time, namely last May, we were expecting proofs from the printers of the electrical pamphlet, one of which was sent to Mr. Royce as already mentioned at the beginning of June. 2. We presume this refers to the proofs mentioned in 1. above. 3. It is not clear to which reprint reference is made. If this refers to the "combination" Instruction Book covering Series 1700-2699, the ordering of these was not confirmed until about the end of July (See paragraph 7). 4. The French and Spanish reprints referred to were delayed owing to the fact that the half-tone blocks were needed for use in connection with other urgently required reprints. The Spanish reprint, however, was delivered here yesterday, and the French is promised in a few days more. 5. 6. & 7. At this time my attention was called to a misunderstanding which arose as to the prices respectively of 500 and 250 copies of the English "combination" book. The printing of this book has been delayed owing to the blocks being required in other connections as mentioned in 4. Our printers however, have received the order to prepare these | ||
