To H - Conduit Street. From EH. x.3500 EH1/LG11.3.19. 11th. Mar. 1919. With reference to your memo H2/DN6.3.19., we anticipate sending the Delage Car to Mr. Royce in about a weeks time. We expect that he will keep it about a month. We do not consider the Delage Car is a very suitable car for the use of your staff. It is very bad on petrol consumption, it is a very heavy car for its power so we should expect it to be bad on tyres, the condition of the car is also poor. As regards the "Marmon" Car, we have no idea when we are likely to receive this so that it is impossible for us to say when we could hand it over to you. We are endeavouring to buy a 6-cylinder "Buick" Car. It might be possible to let you have this when we have finished with it; it is difficult to say when this will be but it will not be less than 2 months. EH. | ||
