Re Delage Car.

Some weeks ago it was proposed by CJ. that until such time as Rolls-Royce chassis begin to come through, I and members of my staff should use small cars such as the above, as soon as they could be made available.

Can you kindly form any opinion as to when Mr. Royce and the Experimental Dept. in your charge will be able to dispense with the Delage car.

CJ. also said that another car which would eventually be available is the Marmon car, now being obtained from America. Can you tell me whether a period of, say, one month or two months, would be sufficient for your Dept. to ascertain all that there was to be ascertained from the Marmon car after its arrival.

Any information you can give me which will enable me to inform CJ. when we can get going with these cars, will be very welcome.
