SPORTS BODY TO GO AHEAD STORK SECURITY ? Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG20.1.23. RE. SPEED BODY FOR "STORK". With reference to the speed body for the "stork". The position of this at the present time is that the D.O. are setting out the dashboard and bonnet. I spoke to BJ. about this when I was in London last week, and he said that as soon as we supplied them with the necessary prints for the Coachbuilder, they would instruct the body. We agree that we think it would be a good thing for Park Wards to make this body as long as they can give us an early delivery date. We are certain, however, that the administration will not allow a "Stork" or a "Heron" chassis to go into any of the Coachbuilders so that we shall have to make the necessary arrangements so that the body can be made to templates and then fitted on to the chassis at the Works with the help of local Coachbuilders.
