Dear Sirs,

We have much pleasure in enclosing herewith a rough draft of notes taken when Mr.Mark Firth and the undersigned had the pleasure of visiting you on the 5th inst, with which we trust you are in agreement. It will be noted from these, that it is suggested the whole of the top leaves we are fitting on the 8 Springs for bumping test shall have rolled eyes. We think this preferable in order to hasten the results, so as to come to a final decision as to whether Silico Manganese or Chrome Vanadium Steel is the best, for as soon as this decision is made we can then roll a stock of Steel to enable us to give you reasonable deliveries for either future experimental Springs or for standard production.

We also wish to thank you for the courtesy extended to us, and the help you are giving us in the manufacture of Springs.

Yours faithfully,

THOS.FIRTH & SONS LIMITED.

(Sgd) J.W.Fawcett.

Director.
