Utility Test of Spark-coil or Magneto X.430
In place of high non-inductive resistances the secondary of a second standard RR ignition - coil was connected across the gap of a standard RR battery ignition, and various resistances used in its primary.
A single gap with third point was used.
Max-gap with second coil disconnected = .37"
With second coil, primary open = .22"
" carbon resistance loose across primary = .15"
" " tight across primary = .07"
