R.R. 235 (20 H) (W 974. 19.10.11) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2078 (1) CONE CLUTCH. 69th Meeting, Nov. 1st, 1911. Re method of fixing cotton belting to clutch cone. The Committee suggested that Mr. Bailey should proceed with his scheme as per sketch submitted, as quickly as possible. It was also suggested that Mr. Nadin should try to obtain the clutch cotton fabric woven in one piece, similar to our present clutch leather. The Committee suggested that Mr. DeLoose should be asked not to keep the clutch leathers at the top of the stores, but that they should be stored in oil in barrels. X964 71st Meeting, November 7th/11. Mr. Platford informed the Committee that he had made a test on a one in four incline, and found that he could not start satisfactorily under full load, with the present clutch. The Committee, therefore, wish to urge the progress of the plate clutch. Mr. Wormald informed the Committee that the four clutches which he had in hand are nearing completion. | ||
