Suggestion No. 118 - Re Clutch Trunnion.

At present the lubrication hole in the clutch trunnion C766, is drilled on the gear box side of the trunnion web, this suggestion is to have it drilled on the flywheel side of the web which would enable the ball thrust to be oiled by lifting the small footboard only.

The Committee agreed that 2s. 6d. be paid for this suggestion, but that the holes be drilled on both sides of the trunnion web.

84th Meeting,
Nov.24th,1911.

With reference to the method of storing the clutch leathers, Mr. Nadin informed the Committee that these were now kept near the floor level in the stores, were drawn out in quantities by the Engine Erectors, and those for immediate use stored in oil.
