We think the suggestion that we should employ a good coachbuilder in the Experimental Dept. is good and would be advantageous to us in many ways. The main difficulty appears to us to be finding the right man for the job. From the nature of the job it would appear that he should be well acquainted with the general constructional methods used by modern body builders in addition to being capable of doing all the necessary general adjustments to Exptl. bodies. We do not know of such a man here in Derby. At the moment we cannot find space in the Exptl. Dept., for attention to bodywork, but we understand from the Repair Dept., that they can allot us space for one car at a time which will be sufficient for our needs.
