Simms Petrol Level Indicator.

In reply to yours Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG19.9.21, we are this morning in receipt of a letter from Simms Motor Units (1920) Ltd. dated 28th inst. as follows:-

"We note your remarks in reference to rust on the magnetic needle of petrol gauges that we are supplying you with.

"We have decided to rust proof these pointers in the future.

"We do not quite understand the matter of the "condensation which you state takes place inside the "glass, and we should be pleased if you could send us "along a petrol gauge so affected, so that we can see "exactly what the trouble is.

"In reference to your third paragraph, we regret "that we do not make any type of petrol gauge with a "moving arm only which can be fitted vertically.

"Awaiting your reply."
