FOLESHILL, COVENTRY. YOUR REF. OUR REF. GES/MJ.305. 27th August, 1938. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. For the attention of Mr. Grylls. Dear Sirs, We are despatching to you by passenger train on Monday, five 4.50-16 Disc Wheels and Cover Caps. We would point out that the cap fixing springs, although made to drawing would be improved by an alteration to the leading edge, to facilitate the fitting of the cap. Owing to the extreme urgency of the matter, we have not delayed delivery of these first wheels to make the modification, but suggest that it should be embodied in future supplies.
