Dear Sirs,

Following our letter of the 11th August, we have now determined that the only way of producing 5.00x16 Disc wheels, part GB.3874, is to modify the punch prepared for the 4.50x16 Disc and to prepare a new die ring.

If, however, this alteration is carried out, the tools would be no longer suitable for producing further 4.50x16 Discs, and under the circumstances we are wondering whether you would wish us to put through some additional pressings in conjunction with the 5, 4.50x16 wheels which we have in hand against order 65185, thereby permitting us to deal with any later requirements which you might have for the smaller size.

In the meantime we are taking out costs for the production of 10, 5.00x16 wheels on the above lines, and hope to have this information available early next week.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
