Dear Sirs,

Re. Packard 120.B. Chassis No.X.27751/992-1812.

We telephoned to you last Tuesday asking if you could carry out some repairs immediately on the above car. We were informed that you were unable to accept the car until Tuesday, 17th.

As the major trouble with the car has been that the front brakes pulled very violently to the right, we telephoned yesterday asking you to send us 2 complete carrier plates and brake shoes for the front of the car, so that we could interchange parts until a cure was affected. We have today fitted a pair of new brake shoes to the off side front wheel and the brakes appear to be quite satisfactory. As the car will be doing a large mileage over this weekend we do not intend to return the rear side brake assembly and the off side less the brake shoes until Monday 16th so that we can be sure that the brakes are satisfactory.

In view of the present satisfactory condition of the brakes, we do not intend to send the car to your Service Depot on Tuesday, but would like you to supply the following parts so that this Packard can again be made into a nice motor car.

1. One hand brake spring.
2. A new key for the luggage and spare wheel lockers. We will send the 2 locks to you on Monday.
3. Six oil gun nipples for spring shackles etc.
