-2- 4. We are getting knocking, from sideway movement of the rear spring shackles. We should like one complete shackle and pins, so that we can check where our assembly is faulty. 5. We have lost the pieces that attached the bonnet to the radiator and to the scuttle. At the moment if one side of the bonnet is raised the bonnet falls away from the centre hinge. 6. One Timken front hub bearing No.1380. 7. A metal gaiter for the rear end of the near side rear road spring. 8. A new filter for the top of the petrol, pump. 9. We are returning the clock to you which has stopped and would like this to be repaired if the cost is relatively small. We should be much obliged if you would let us have an estimate for these 9 items also the cost of the pair of off-side front brake shoes which we are retaining, in order that a covering order may be issued. In our letter of the 5th of the month, we asked if we could buy a spare part list. Such a list would certainly simplify the ordering of spare parts. We thank you very much for the prompt way in which you despatched the brake parts, which have enabled the car to be used over the week-end. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
