Cadillac Camshaft.

Herewith Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1829 which shows the Cadillac valve lift diagram as deduced from the cam form. The form appears to be built up of circular arcs, so designed that the positive and negative portions of the acceleration curve make one continuous sine curve, symmetrical about the zero line. The result is a thin lift diagram owing to the small positive acceleration.

Other points are :-

(1) The duration with .020 clearance is 16° less than our short duration SpectreCodename for Phantom III form.

(2) The toes are as long as on the 25 HP. shaft.
