RE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

RECEIVED

I consider we are very greatly improving our car electrical equipment by adopting the uniform and better quality of starter, and other electrical parts.

You will remember that I have suggested that we quickly consider the use of an earth return system on the car. You will observe from our recent memos that in our own arrangement we have only a light current running to earth, and therefore our earth contacts can be made through a light fuse. We should have to abandon this advantage if we used an earthed negative and frame return for the whole of the electrical circuits.
