Referring to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s anti-jelly-ing scheme described in DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M27.2.31., we should like to make a test of this out in a somewhat modified form employing bell cranks and a push and pull rod for the parallel motion.

Some provision would be required for taking care of the expansion of the crankchamber such as a link.

There is still the difficulty remaining that we should be mounting the engine at 4 points in the frame, and also the mechanism may rattle due to reversal of load, but these difficulties might be overcome.
