Dear Sirs,

Your catalogue "Sitting Down & Taking Notice" has been loaned to me for perusal only. The seat illustrated appears to be a very interesting development, and I would be grateful if you could send me a copy of your catalogue for post-war reference.

If it were possible I would like to go further and fit a seat of this type to one of our transport cars to give it a thorough test. These cars are driven by numerous people, and from their reactions, we could collect some useful data, which we could hand on to the people who normally build bodies for us. Not knowing when the present conflict is likely to terminate, this may be looking rather a long way ahead, but if your seat is as good as it looks, it would be nice to start on the right lines when peace is with us again.

Will you please be good enough to let me have your views on the subject.

Yours faithfully,

R.{Sir Henry Royce} GREENE
