1282. (Experimental Dept.) Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 6/R. 11th January, 1937. F.R. Banks, Esq., Ethyl Export Corporation, Thames House, Millbank, S.W.1. Dear Banks, Thank you for your letters of the 8th and 9th January respectively. I think you will agree that Conduit Street's final reaction to complaints they are getting from customers on lead petrol was inevitable. I have done my best to stop them panicking, but as I have already pointed out to you the trouble has now assumed serious proportions. I do not think it is worth while your coming to Derby until we have some results from the ceramic plugs which KLG. are making for us. We have absolutely no reliable and consistent information of which you do not know. Thank you for your enquiry re my eye, which is gradually recovering. Yours sincerely, | ||
