Y4196 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/LG11.8.25. CHAMPION SPARKING PLUGS. With reference to Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}2/NJ11.8.25. I personally interviewed the representative from the Champion Sparking Plug Co.Ltd. when he previously called here. I pointed out to him that it was most improbable that the Firm would ever think of adopting American plugs. As the Champion representative seemed very anxious that we should try the plugs, we agreed that if he would let us have 1/2 doz., we would try them. We have so far subjected these plugs to one or two tests from which they have emerged satisfactorily but we have not yet had an opportunity of running them under extreme conditions such as we should expect might produce failure. We will let you have further information when we have completed our tests. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
